The sound has an excellent crisp ‘bite’ and it is there immediately, without much effort, and there is plenty of it. A full-bodied and balanced voice for sure even when playing softly the articulation is there. She would make a great string quartett instrument if not orchestra front desk and also chamber music soloists will have plenty to explore in this violin! One piece lovely figured maple back with an excellently preserved front, Labelled print inside reads: Giuseppe Salvadori, in Pistoja, 1889.
