George Unite Georgian / Victorian Silver Baby Rattle. Hallmarked Birmingham in 1837

Whistle is in good condition and all bells are complete, belong and are present and attached.

The hallmarks depict the lion of England marking the item as sterling silver with purity of 925/1000 (mark is worn, but the tail is still visible)
City mark of Birmingham (Anchor)
Year letter mark D is of 1837 (So it could in fact be late Georgian as well as early Victorian ;) )
The George Unite makers mark is clearly visible under the whistle. He established his own business in 1832, and this rattle is made 5 years later, when he worked from the address of 42 Caroline Street, Birmingham.

The rattle measures 13.50 mm in length
And the width at its widest point is 39 mm (excluding added width of bells)
