Delivery Information
We’re a small, family-run workshop based in Lincolnshire, led by husband and wife partners. We may be a small team, but our standards are exceptionally high. Every instrument is packed with care and attention, and wherever possible, we use recycled or reused packaging materials. This helps reduce waste, so don’t be surprised if your parcel arrives in a thoughtfully repurposed box.
We ship instruments and accessories across the UK, throughout the EU, and have successfully delivered as far afield as Canada. Worldwide shipping is available with some exceptions — if you're unsure whether we can ship to your location, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise.

We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible, but as a small workshop our timescales are as follows:

In-stock items – Most of our instruments and accessories are kept in stock and ready to go. Once your order is placed, we carry out a final check before packing it carefully for dispatch within 7 days.
Vintage instruments – Our vintage pieces are always in stock, but we take the time to inspect each one thoroughly before dispatch to ensure it meets our high standards. This means vintage instruments are dispatched within 7 days.
Special order items – Occasionally, we may need to order an item from one of our trusted suppliers. Once it arrives, we complete a full set-up in our workshop before dispatching it. This process means special orders are usually sent out within 2 weeks. We’ll always contact you if your order includes a special order item to confirm the estimated delivery time.
Online exclusive items – If a product isn’t something we normally keep in stock, it will be clearly marked as an online exclusive on the product page. These items follow the same timescale as special orders. Please note that online exclusive items are not available to preview at our workshop.
Double basses – Our double basses are available to trial and collect from our Lincolnshire workshop. Due to their size and delicate nature, we do not advise postal delivery for these instruments.
During busier periods, we continue to work within these timeframes and appreciate your patience as we prepare your order to the highest possible standard.
Shipping & Insurance
Our standard shipping options do not include insurance. If you would like to add insurance to your shipment, please let us know when placing your order and we’ll arrange this for you. Insured shipping is typically 5% of your order’s total value. If you choose to ship without insurance, please be aware this is at your own risk.
