A vintage violin bow styled after the Peccate model, the stick is stamped above the frog indicating the maker to be Otto Jos. Klier. The round stick is suited to players that enjoy a mix of playing styles, the shape of this stick is known to give more freedom of movement producing a rich sound. This well balanced bow is in good condition and has the warm look and feel of a Vintage Bow

Product Information

This bow was made in a well established German manufacturing firm on Schönbach, Germany.
The company is a family run business, which has passed down from Father to son to widow and daughter with support of her spouse. The third generation still successfully runs the company.
The original founder, Johann Klier, even made a violin with the head of Franz Josef II, the Austrian emperor at the place of the scroll, which is now kept in a museum in Prague.

  • International Delivery: Worldwide shipping is available with some exceptions. Please get in touch for an individual quote.
