The Distintivo is a hand-carved, full-size cello designed for intermediate and advanced players looking for an instrument with depth, projection, and tonal refinement. Constructed from premium tonewoods, it features a grade A spruce top with a very tight grain, a beautifully figured, quarter-sawn solid maple back, and ebony pegs and fingerboard. The instrument is then hand-varnished and given an antique finish, enhancing both its aesthetic appeal and tonal character.

To ensure the best possible playing experience, the Distintivo benefits from a Despiau Superieur maple bridge, which has been hand-fitted and adjusted for optimal resonance and tonal balance. How Long Will It Take to Arrive?

• In Stock: If the cello is in stock, we aim to prepare and dispatch your order the next working day.

• Out of Stock: If the cello is not immediately available, we’ll inform you and place a special order on your behalf. These instruments are crafted and set up specifically for you, with a lead time of 1–2 weeks from the date of order.

Postage Options

Once your cello has been set up to perfection, we offer the following delivery options:

• Free Local Collection: You are welcome to collect your instrument free of charge from our workshop near Lincoln.

• UK Delivery: We’ll dispatch your cello anywhere in the UK, with a postage charge applied at checkout.

• International Delivery: We are happy to arrange international shipping. Please get in touch for an individual quote.
