The Stentor Profundo double bass is a high-quality orchestral and soloist model, designed for serious players who require both depth of tone and refined craftsmanship. Hand-carved from selected tonewoods, it features a close-grained spruce front and highly figured maple back, sides, and neck. The fully hand-carved body is complemented by inlaid purfling, adding both durability and aesthetic appeal.
This model is fitted with an ebony fingerboard and a high-quality bridge for precise response and projection. The quarter plate brass machine heads ensure smooth and reliable tuning, while the instrument's balance and tonal clarity make it equally suitable for orchestral performance and solo work.

When this instrument is special ordered for you, it will be set up and prepared especially for you and can be customized based on your personal preferences.

Free Local Collection: You are welcome to collect your instrument free of charge from our workshop near Lincoln.
UK Delivery: We’ll dispatch your Double Bass anywhere in the UK, with a postage charge applied at checkout.
