The Stentor Conservatoire double bass outfit is an excellent choice for more advanced students who need a high-quality, responsive instrument. Crafted from selected solid tonewoods with natural flame, it features a fully carved spruce front and maple back for a powerful, resonant sound.
The hand-applied shellax varnish enhances the beauty of the flamed wood, while the ebony fingerboard and full plate brass machineheads provide excellent playability and reliable tuning. The outfit is completed with a good quality wood bow and a padded cover with bow and accessory pockets.
