In great condition is this excellent full size vintage handmade violin from Germany. This violin is made after a Guadagnini model.
Labelled inside ‘Ioannes Baptista Guadagnini. Piacentino, Fecit Medio L’ Ani 17..
Measuring 361mm on the back, bridge position is at 190mm and neck length is 130mm, resulting in an active string length of 323mm
A few historical repairs with internal supports are present, but they appear to be stable.
Front is of medium wide, evenly grained spruce, the neck, ribs and two-piece back are of maple. Great for advanced amateur players and orchestral musicians.
