Viola shoulderrests are measured by instrument size in body length measured as the full length of the back - usually in inches - (without the neck button).
Fractional Violas of 13” - 14” body length should choose 4/4 size violin shoulderrests.
Fractional Violas of 11” - 12” body length should choose 3/4 size violin shoulderrests.
