This Vintage German Violin from circa 1895 is made after a Maggini style model, featuring an oversized body with double purfling along the edges of both the front and back. The medium-wide, evenly grained spruce top enhances tonal depth, while the maple neck, ribs, and two-piece back provide a strong foundation. Measuring 369mm on the back, with a bridge position of 200mm and a neck length of 130mm, it offers an active string length of 335mm.

The violin is a full-sized 4/4, though it is more intuitive for taller players due to its slightly oversized dimensions. The instrument has been fitted with a new set of Dominant strings and professionally set up at Bridge Street Violins with Larsen Aurora strings for optimal sound quality.
