Polish with my personally mixed solution of alcohol, oil, genuine turpentine, water and something fragrant. It is the perfect blend to protect your instrument’s varnish and remove dirt of various kinds.

A universal instrument cleaner!

For the protective wax I use a microcrystalline wax used by conservators of world renowned musea and precious instrument and artefact collections. Adding a wax provides the instrument’s sensitive varnish with an extra layer of protection.

A professional clean and check will not only make the instrument look beautiful, it will also improve the tone and projection of your instrument.
By playing we deposit bow rosin dust on the top plate of the instrument (and inside it too). A build up of this dust layer will have a negative effect on the tonal qualities. Besides that the soundholes can build bridges and this ruins sound and overtone capabilities.
