Bridge will be trimmed for optimal sound, projection, and playability.

Price includes Bridge Blank of the quality chosen. (Disclaimer: the Prima bridge is a violin bridge and only meant as an example of the Cello bridge quality, the picture does not represent the actual Prima cello bridge).

The quality refers to the quality of bridge blank: type of wood, density, cut, size, drying time, stiffness, etc.

The most visible differences between a French and a Belgian model are the length of the legs and the placement and shape of the heart.
The longer legs of the Belgian model are presumed to assist with a more powerful sound. But not all instruments will benefit from a Belgian cut bridge. The French model is thought to produce a more balanced and warmer sound. It very much depends on what tone you would like to promote inside your instrument. a brash instrument could benefit from a French Bridge as well as a warm instrument could benefit from a Belgian cut one.
